Time for a change

Hello all,
I won't even start to explain my lack of writing, suffice to say life is busy and there are very rarely enough hours in the day. But here we are. It is way too early in the morning as Ithan decided it was time to get up and no amount of persuasion or milk or cuddles convinced him that going back to sleep was a good plan.
We had some rather shocking news yesterday. Our agents for the house called and informed us that the landlords are selling the house so we have until the end of August to be out. Initially this is horrible news, we had just decided that we would stay here and start Rosa at the wonderful local special school Pathfields in September. We have gone through the whole long and complicated process of statementing, and were on the cusp of starting the transition process for her from the services and team she currently has to the new team she will have at school. The plan was that Helen would ease her through this as she also works at Pathfields 2 days a week. I know when we are the other side of this event, settled in our new home it will seem like it was just the right time to do it but right now it really doesn't. It is made more complicated by the fact that because our long term plan has been to move to Cornwall it seems silly to move somewhere else in this area only to have to up sticks and move again before too long, especially as we are going to have to move the studio, really don't want to do that more than necessary. So it would seem we are moving to Cornwall in the shockingly near future! Yesterday morning I was planting flowers in the garden and now I ought to dig them up again. All this started because a slate came off our roof so Gareth phoned the agents. The agents got a couple of roofers in to quote for fixing it and the both said really it needed replacing, the next news was that they were having the place valued then this phone call yesterday. Not surprisingly G is now wishing he'd never let them know about that slate!
